A holiday outing for Polk families: Cirque Dreams Holidaze in Lakeland

Polk County families can gather in Lakeland for an early start to the holiday season when Cirque Dreams Holidaze arrives at RP Funding Center on Thursday, November 19. The 7 p.m. performance brings live holiday music, circus artistry and a newly imagined Christmas Eve story to one stage.

Whether the group is coming from Winter Haven, Bartow or Lakeland, the plan is the same: an evening together built around a show. Cirque Dreams is offering readers 20% off with code HOLLY.

One girl’s Christmas Eve becomes an adventure

At the center of the 2026 production is Clara, whose family may be kept away by a snowstorm. Two whimsical singers appear as she faces spending Christmas Eve alone, opening the door to HOLIDAZE and a cast of colorful holiday characters.

What follows is a journey through circus acts and unexpected friendships. Clara discovers her own courage before a family reunion and an aerial finale bring the story to its celebration of connection and imagination.

More than one kind of performance

Holidaze places contemporary circus artists inside a Broadway-style theatrical production. Aerial performers, jugglers, skippers and acrobats appear alongside singers and dancers, with toy soldiers and reindeer helping create the holiday setting.

Cirque Dreams says the 2026 show includes new sets, costumes and music, as well as holiday favorites performed live. That mix gives a family group plenty to follow, from the songs and characters to the concentration and skill of the circus acts.
